Maker
3D design and printing since 2013, starting with a Robo3D, plus prop making and fabrication: from a camera mount that shipped with production surgical headsets to props, helmets and display pieces.
Product prototyping
Surgical headset camera mountFor S.W.I.S. Surgical Video
Dr. Ryan Grabow, a hand surgeon, invented the S.W.I.S. Surgical Video headset, which records surgery from the surgeon’s point of view for teaching and remote education. This camera mount shipped with the production headsets: it holds the camera body so the surgeon isn’t tethered to a recorder by a long cable, and it balances the weight on the surgeon’s head. Dr. Grabow took the headset to CES 2018.
